Acropolis View Hotel

Very nice and clean. Good water pressure. We got the room with a view from our balcony, and it was very nice. The roof has an amazing view and we woke up early to see the sunset from the rooftop. Even when it was very cold outside, the room and hotel were warm. Definitely worth the money. I'll share some pictures of the breakfast as well.

Pretty good hotel, I was pretty impressed. Spent three days here recently. It had a really good location (on a side street but in a good area near the acropolis). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was okay. The balcony view was really nice but the room was crammed and the bathroom was satisfactory. The lighting was weird and the shower wasn’t great. But the beds were comfortable for a hotel and the room had all the other essentials like lamps, outlets, stools etc. Breakfast was great and was some of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Lots of variety and everything was great. It had all the standard things like eggs and sausage toast, coffee, but also some unique items. For example freshly squeezed orange juice, pudding and some pies. It was really good for the price I payed. Cheap and overall very nice. Consider staying here as the area is good and the hotel is overall nice.

This hotel was just wonderful. The location was perfect with wonderful views of the Acropolis from our room and the rooftop terrace. Our room was a bit crowded but was fine. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere on the rooftop terrace was very relaxed and met people from all the world. The breakfast was served upstairs on the terrace. You could eat inside away from the pigeons or outside with the views and fresh air. The variety of breakfast items available was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens.

We stayed at Acropolis View Hotel two nights late October prior to a Mediterranean cruise. It was wonderful. The young lady that checked us in was super helpful and provided a map with sites noted. The rooftop breakfast was excellent and seeing a sunrise behind the Parthenon was a highlight of our entire trip. The location is great and within easy walking distance of many sites including the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum.

Our group of 9 (spread over 5 rooms) stayed here in mid August 2023 for 2 nights and we all agreed that this hotel was superb. Rooms were on the small side but clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff, superb rooftop area with stunning views of the Acropolis. They serve drinks downstairs which you can bring up and enjoy in the evening. Breakfast in the morning on the rooftop was fabulous with tasty and healthy options, easily the best hotel breakfast I have had in many years. For a 3 star hotel they are really punching above their weight. I have stayed in the nearby Herodion Hotel (4 star) on an earlier visit a few years back (and had a rooftop meal there at Point A restaurant on this visit) and whilst they are also very good I definitely prefer the Acropolis View Hotel. The view is just as good too. Take my advice and stay here, you won't regret it.

I saw the outstanding reviews on Expedia, but was hesitant to book because the price was almost ‘too good to be true’. I took a chance and did it anyways, and I’m so thankful I did! The staff is friendly, helpful and so welcoming. The location is perfect. It’s within walking distance of the Acropolis, museum, shopping and lots of food options. The rooms were narrow but easily and comfortably fit six adults in two rooms…and the beds/mattresses were divine. However, the most delightful thing about this hotel, and the reason I took a leap of faith and booked it, was because of the roof top view mentioned in the previous reviews. The night time view of the Acropolis from the roof is absolutely breathtaking! You will NOT be disappointed!!
